Princess Eugenie of York is the younger daughter of Prince Andrew of England. In other words, she is the cousin of Prince William. While holidaying in Cambodia as part of her gap year, she got mugged when they were walking at night in Phnom Penh. Luckily they were rescued by two royal protection officers who were feet away. I guess it’s time for the princess to end her gap year soon? Haha. It’s pretty risky for a princess to travel around the globe just like that. It was reported that since finishing her A-levels last year, Eugenie has been enjoying a gap-year trip that has included visits to Thailand, South Africa and India. Have you seen her photo before? It’s Queen Beatrix Day in Netherlands on 30 April. However, it took a tragic turn when a car careered into a crowd of people watching the birthday celebration parade. As Queen Beatrix and her family passed by in an open bus, the car smashed through the police barriers and it was thought to be an attempt to harm the royal family. The incident killed 5 people and injured 12 other people. The royal family was unhurt. As a result, all celebrations were cancelled.

In a televised address, a clearly-shaken Queen Beatrix said: “What began as a great day has ended in a terrible tragedy that has shocked us all deeply. We are speechless that something so terrible could have happened. My family, and I think everybody in the country, sympathise with the victims, their families and friends and all who have been hit so hard by this accident.”

It was reported that Prince william pranged an airplane while undergoing his RAF training last year. He grounded this 1 million pound plane because he flicked the wrong switch. Nothing serious and a few others had also made this mistake.That’s why it’s called “training”!

It’s been 12 years..And it’s the first time Prince William finally reveals how he feels towards his late Mother – Princess Diana. He spoke of the emptiness he feels on every Mother’s Day – “Never being able to say the word ‘Mummy’ again in your life sounds like a small thing.
